Madeline Johanson

Community Health Navigator & Data Governance Lead

Madeline recently graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a bachelor’s degree in social work. She completed her final field placement with Black Men’s Health Clinic, serving as a health navigator intern. Currently, Madeline is preparing to attend Washington University in St. Louis, where she will pursue two master’s degrees, one in social work and the other in public health.

During her time in Austin, Madeline served as the president of a non-profit organization that provided socks for people who are unhoused. She has developed a strong passion for improving access to healthcare and addressing homelessness in the United States, specifically for minority and marginalized populations. She hopes to continue improving access to healthcare during her time with Black Men’s Health Clinic and in the future.
