DESCRIPTION:Black Men’s Health Clinic® Huddles with KAZI 88.7 FM to  \nCo-Host Five-on-Five Basketball Tournament for the Community \n  \nAUSTIN – The Black Men’s Health Clinic® (BMHC) is excited to announce that we are co-hosting a five-on-five basketball tournament with KAZI 88.7 FM to bring the community together for family-friendly sports\, fun\, music\, and promote health. The tournament will be held on Saturday\, the 15th of February\, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the Dove Springs Recreation Center. It’s $250 to register a team to compete\, with a limit of 8 participating teams. The admission fee is only $5 to watch the game. Winners will receive a $1000 cash prize!  \n  \nKAZI 88.7 FM has been an important part of the Austin community in creating an inclusive space for media access where anyone can jam to music or educate oneself in community news\, local issues\, and more. As a volunteer-run and listener-supported non-profit\, KAZI is a radio station made by the people of Austin for the people of Austin. BMHC is proud to connect with KAZI 88.7 FM as we continue to build strong and welcoming communities. Not only will there be basketball\, but also various vendors\, KAZI DJ meet and greets\, musical performances\, and more! It is sure to be an exciting addition to the basketball tournament. Her work reflects a deep commitment to strengthening families\, empowering communities\, and improving the living conditions of people\, which is a vital social determinant of health. \nToya’s work is rooted in her ongoing dedication to families\, strengthening the community\, and addressing what matters most to men’s health. But her impact doesn’t stop there. Toya continues to pour into the community by sharing her voice\, her journey\, and her leadership with young people in our community. \nBut we would also like to highlight Toya’s heart for paying it forward to youth in our community on her own time.
