SUMMARY:DEC. 9TH\, 2025 - Grassroots Homeless Service Provider Cohort Graduation
DESCRIPTION:BMHC is proud to celebrate the Grassroots Homeless Service Provider Cohort Graduation\, recognizing nine Black-led organizations—including the Black Men’s Health Clinic—that completed a year-long capacity-building program designed to strengthen infrastructure\, expand impact\, and deepen their role within Austin’s Homelessness Response System. \nWe’re especially excited to highlight BMHC’s own Dominique Holman\, who participated in this cohort as part of her leadership and service to our community. This program—co-funded by Austin Homeless Strategies & Operations (AHSO) and Indeed\, and facilitated by ECHO—provided tailored development support and culminated in each participant earning a Certificate in Organizational Development from Austin Community College. \nDominique says\, “Being part of this cohort was a gentle reminder that growth doesn’t always happen loudly. Sometimes it comes from showing up\, listening deeply\, and letting yourself be shaped by the work. I’m grateful to AHSO\, Indeed\, and ECHO for creating space for learning\, and honored to bring these lessons back to BMHC and the community that continues to teach me every day.” \nWe congratulate Dominique and all cohort graduates for their dedication\, growth\, and commitment to improving support for individuals experiencing homelessness. BMHC is honored to stand alongside these leaders and looks forward to continuing this transformative work. \nEvent Details\n🗓️ December 9\n⏰ 5:30–7:30 PM\n📍 ACC Rio Grande\, Austin\, TX\nRSVP HERE: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLScbzRaJVk-EfQbwCmTHpeheF-ii_7YpdrS9CLNJOsmRj8ZpIg/viewform
