DESCRIPTION:The City of Austin Equity Office is excited to invite you to the 2024 Equity Forum – “Another World is Possible”. This event was developed to provide a day of discussion\, connection\, and action as shared resources and strategies will be exchanged for a more equitable Austin. Attendees will have the opportunity to build relationships\, engage with panelists\, and cultivate radical hope for the coming year. \n\nPanel discussions will tackle topics such as community organizing strategies\, art as resistance\, immigrant rights\, and equitable land-use policies for Austinites.\nAttendees will also have opportunities for art activation including screen printing and a collaging/visioning activity to learn about getting involved in the City’s budgeting process.
