Trenton Mosby is a public health advocate committed to advancing health equity through community engagement, research, and policy. A graduate of The University of Texas at Austin with a degree in Public Health and a minor in African and African American Diaspora Studies, he is currently pursuing an MPH/MBA with interests in health policy, healthcare systems, and population health.
His experience spans public health research, advocacy, and health promotion focused on addressing disparities in underserved communities. This includes cardiovascular health initiatives with the American Heart Association, reproductive health research and advocacy through the Gxnecolgx Justice Lab, and community-based healthcare outreach with Austin Smiles – The Austin Plastic Surgery Foundation, supporting cleft lip and palate care and education for children and families in Latin America.
His contributions have been recognized through multiple honors, including the Dean’s Dozen Award from the University of Texas at Austin Dean of Students, the Brianna McRae Gavel of Student Leadership, UT Austin Chapter President of the Year, and Lone Star Collegiate Brother of the Year. He is also a proud member of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc..
Currently, he serves as a Healthy Program VISTA with the Black Men’s Health Clinic through AmeriCorps, supporting health promotion and community outreach efforts aimed at improving public health outcomes.
Trenton’s passion lies in advancing health equity, strengthening community health systems, and improving access to care for historically underserved populations.
