Meet Our Leaders

Jaeson Fournier

Dr. Fournier brings more than two decades of leadership in community health to BMHC. A seasoned Community Health Center executive, he has led large, multi-site Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) organizations in Texas, Minnesota, Illinois, Michigan, and South Carolina. Throughout his career, Dr. Fournier has focused on creating a culture of teamwork and accountability that produces nation-leading outcomes while maintaining financial strength and compliance. He is known for fostering consensus among boards, team members, and community partners, and for bringing a hands-on, solutions-oriented approach to complex operational challenges rooted in actionable data.

Before joining BMHC in ___________, Dr. Fournier served as President & CEO of Eau Claire Cooperative Health Center (Cooperative Health) in Columbia, South Carolina. There, he guided the organization toward greater financial stability and operational efficiency, strengthened quality systems, and championed key cultural improvements. From 2017 to 2024, he led CommUnityCare Health Centers in Austin, Texas, where he oversaw significant growth in patient volume and service lines, including major expansions in pediatrics, women’s health and integrated behavioral health, while sustaining a strong financial and compliance footing. He also serves as President and Chief Executive Officer at Peak Vista Community Health Centers.

Dr. Fournier earned his Doctor of Chiropractic degree and completed a Clinical Research Residency at the National University of Health Sciences. He holds a Master of Public Health from the University of Illinois Chicago and a Bachelor of Science in Biology and Zoology from the University of Toronto.

Driven by a deep belief in health care as a human right, Dr. Fournier continues to champion innovative strategies that reduce barriers to care, advance population health, and support the next generation of community health leaders. His dedication to consensus-building and measurable quality improvement defines his leadership and guides BMHC in fulfilling its mission to provide exceptional, accessible care for all.

Outside of work, Dr. Fournier enjoys travel, outdoor activities, time with his family and is a 6x Ironman finisher.
