Sobering Center

Sobering Center

The Sobering Center enhances public health and safety by providing a safe place for publicly intoxicated individuals to sober up as an alternative to the emergency room or jail and, where appropriate, to provide a bridge to recovery.

Medical Assistant Training Program

Central Health has partnered with Austin Community College to facilitate an accelerated program that trains candidates to become Medical Assistants in just 14 weeks. The program offers candidates full-time employment, benefits, and a scholarship while they work toward obtaining their Medical Assistant certification.
