Dr. Wendell Williams

Medical Advisor

Wendell Williams MD is a third generation physician from St. Louis Missouri. He graduated from an HBCU, Howard university, in 1978. Dr. Williams earned his medical degree from Baylor College of medicine in Houston in 1982 and completed his internship and residency in internal medicine in 1985 at the Washington Hospital Center in Washington DC. Dr. Williams cardiology fellowship was completed in 1987 at St. Luke’s West in St. Louis and he is board-certified in internal medicine and cardiology.

Dr. Williams semi retired in August 2020 after serving underserved communities in St. Louis, Missouri and in Muskogee, Oklahoma for over 30 years. He and his wife moved to the Austin area in October 2020. He desires to continue his commitment to the black community by working with the Black Men’s Health Clinic.
