Join BMHC at the Austin/Travis County Community event that takes place on Friday, October 18th! This event is a fun, family-friendly community event focused on health, wellness, and connection.

This year's Boo the Flu event will offer free flu shots, helping everyone stay healthy through this upcoming flu season. Attendees can also take advantage of free vision screenings, a community food drive, and access to valuable local resources supporting health and wellness for the whole family.

There will be various fun activities for all ages. Families can enjoy games, giveaways, and treats while learning how to keep their loved ones healthy and strong.

BMHC will proudly be tabling at this event, providing health resources, appointment scheduling, and helpful information about our programs and services.

SEP. 13, 2025 – FREE “Movement is Medicine” Group Fitness Class

Mt. Zion Baptist Church 2938 E 13th Street, Austin

The Black Men’s Health Clinic is hosting a FREE "Movement is Medicine" group fitness class at Mt. Zion Church on September 13th. The class is led by BMHC Outreach Engagement Specialist and Healthy Lifestyles Lead, Kiounis Williams.

This fun and engaging class is designed for ALL fitness levels, and while it is geared towards adults 50+, all adult ages are welcome!
