Meet Our Leaders

Mr. Garza has more than 40 years of progressively responsible professional experience at various levels of state government including the Austin-Travis County MHMR Center, the Texas Commission for the Blind, the Department of State Health Services, the Health and Human Services Commission, and the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services. He has been instrumental in developing leadership training programs and delivering presentations and workshops on numerous management/leadership topics. Mr. Garza received his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Journalism from the University of Texas at Austin. He currently lives with his wife, Cecilia, and son, Roberto, in Austin, Texas.
