Meet Our Leaders

Ursula Hawthorne has been in the healthcare field for over 20 years in clinical and business operations. As an experienced leader she has a drive for efficiency, proficiency and high productivity.

Ursula earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work from Texas Christian University, a Master’s Degree in Human Resource Management from Dallas Baptist University, a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of South Alabama, and a Master of Science in Nursing from Walden University. She completed an MSN with a concentration as an Adult-Gerontology Nurse Practitioner and received certification through the AANP. She has experience in quality management, community health, surgical services, and outpatient clinics.

Ursula currently works for AMN Healthcare as a Clinical Manager serving as a clinical expert in surgical services and outpatient care while working daily to help mitigate risk, providing support, coaching and counseling clinicians, and partnering with facilities to ensure AMN’s travelers are providing safe patient care. She is also a member of the American Nurses Association and Texas Nurses Association.
