The Black Men’s Health Clinic® (BMHC) highlights Breast Cancer Awareness Month during the month of October but activates behavioral change all year long.
BMHC stands in solidarity with the women in our lives and is “sounding the alarm” in the community, that men are also diagnosed with breast cancer.
Our intentional inclusion of men is for enhanced awareness, equity, and access to health prevention and healthcare around breast cancer. It also creates opportunities to discuss prostate and colorectal cancer.
NEXT WEDNESDAY!
A BMHC OUTREACH EVENT BMHC’s Clinical Navigation Team will be in our lobby with snacks and information about our services and provide information to heighten breast cancer awareness, share the importance of mammograms, and encourage the use of preventative measures such as scheduling regular doctor’s appointments. Date: Wednesday, October 23rd |
