Feliece Murrell

Dr. Feliece Y. Murrell serves as the Chief People and Culture Officer for the non-profit organization, Endeavors, in San Antonio, Texas. Endeavors focus on vulnerable populations, such as veterans, and seek to provide a helping hand to restore dignity and improve the quality of life for every client, every time, in every community they serve. In her role as Chief People and Culture Officer she helps Endeavors develop an inclusive and safe workspace where leaders embody the organizational values, strengthen the relationships within the organization, and empower employees to contribute to the mission with confidence and purpose.

A retired U.S. Army Veteran, she entered the service in 1989 and retired after 30 years of service to our great Nation at the most senior enlisted rank, Command Sergeant Major. Her time in the Army allowed her to complete an extensive military education through completing courses including the Instructor Course, Recruit Sergeant Major Course, and Battle Staff Course to name a few. Her final military position found her as the Chief of Education at the prestigious Sergeants Major Academy & US Army Leadership Center of Excellence in El Paso, Texas. Here she gained and leveraged expertise leading, guiding, and educating service members and diverse groups of senior leaders from over 60 countries.

Beyond her excellent military and professional career, Feliece Y. Murrell has had an outstanding academic career. Along with a bachelor’s degree from Oakland University, she has earned three master’s degrees, two from Websters University in Human Resources and Leadership & Management plus another from Pennsylvania State University in Education. Even further, she has earned her Doctorate in Educational Leadership from Heritage University.

In her personal time, Feliece volunteers to serve military communities by providing transitioning Veterans and their spouses guidance in reaching their academic, new career, and financial goals. To accomplish this endeavor, she’s a member for National Association of Institutions for Military Education Services (NAIMES), a student mentor for college students, and she was nominated as a San Antonio K.E.Y. Mentor. Additionally, she’s a member of the National Association of Black Military Women, the Noncommissioned Officers Association, and the serves as the Director of The Camel Club for retired referees.
