BMHC Addresses Senior Health with Texas NAACP
The Black Men’s Health Clinic is proud to announce that our Senior Director of Operations, Hon. Larry Wallace Jr., Ph.D., will be a featured presenter at the Texas NAACP Health Committee’s “Senior Lives Matter” virtual event on Wednesday, August 27, 2025.
Hosted by the Texas NAACP Health Committee, this event brings together experts and advocates to address pressing health issues affecting our senior community. Dr. Larry Wallace Jr. will share insights on how BMHC is working to ensure seniors, especially within Black and minority communities, have access to quality healthcare, resources, and support systems.
BMHC’s mission is rooted in equity, access, and empowerment. Seniors are a vital part of our families and communities, yet they often face unique health challenges—from managing chronic illnesses to navigating limited mobility, financial barriers, and systemic disparities. By participating in events like “Senior Lives Matter,” we amplify our voice, advocate for policy and community change, and ensure our elders receive the respect, resources, and care they deserve.
We encourage our community to join the conversation, learn more, and show support for our senior population.
