VACCINE CLINIC TODAY (3/15) - MEASLES CASE IDENTIFIED in Austin

Measles is currently circulating at unprecedented levels in Texas, putting unvaccinated and under-vaccinated individuals at serious risk.

Please review the measles vaccine guidance prior to scheduling an appointment. Patients with insurance coverage will be asked to present proof of insurance at the time of the vaccination appointment. For uninsured patients, cost information will be provided on-site.

The Black Men's Health Clinic is excited to announce a co-branded food education series called, 'What's the Soul in Our Food,' in partnership with Sustainable Food Center (SFC).
 
As part of Sustainable Food's Happy Kitchen series, their proprietary class will be a six-week-long class series focusing on African American culture through food as well as general health awareness. BMHC is excited to be a part of this innovative approach to reach the people we serve through the healthy nutrition and our rich culture.
 
These Sustainable Food classes will focus on nutrition education and a cooking demo provided by Sustainable Food Center.

Downtown Austin Community Court x BMHC – May 27th, 2025

The Black Men's Health Clinic (BMHC) is pleased to share that our collaboration with Downtown Austin Community Court that we previously shared in 2024 is official.

We will officially begin offering mobile court at BMHC on Tuesday, May 27th, 2025.

BMHC's healthcare services stand on three pillars: physical, mental, and social determinants of health. This mobile court opportunity falls under our social determinants of health pillar. Social determinants of health, such as transportation, shelter, food, and other daily needs, are being addressed through BMHC's Care Network. Resolving court issues can help with peace of mind, safety, and health.
